1. Tips for Kingdom Living

As we move deeper into the last days there will be many things happen that will be able to produce an angry response in us. For example, as the world teeters of the bring of economic depression and there is massive unemployment many will be angry.

As the remnant we must remember what God says about anger:

  1. Be slow to become angry.

Prov. 14:17 – A quick-tempered man does foolish things, and a crafty man is hated.

Prov. 14:29 – A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly.

  1. Hot words stir up strife.

Prov. 15:1 – A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

2. Strategic Advice for the Remnant

How Do We Walk With God?

Deuteronomy 31:6 tells us not to be afraid because God goes with us. This is very reassuring but just how should we walk to be assured of this?

For one thing we must move along with a measured pace, not to fast and not to slow. We must conscientiously keep moving forward knowing He is with us. We are to allow neither man nor circumstances to turn us away from the course God has set us on.

This kind of walk in a person’s life is hard to find today.

So, just what is this walk with God? This walk with the Eternal One? He has promised to walk with you and me hasn’t He? That should settle it – He keeps His promises.

To walk with God means not only to stride forward, but also to walk IN STEP with Him.

How can we do that - to walk side by side and in step with God?

The only way we can achieve this walk with God is when we have an inner stillness, a quiet rest in Him.

When disharmony occurs between our soul and the Living God, when sin comes between Him and us, we will no longer be in step with Him. We will run ahead, fall behind or spin off on our own tangent.

Amos 3:3 asks: “Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?”

In other words, the FIRST PREMISE FOR WALKING WITH GOD is to become one with Him, to become one with the Holy One through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Only then are we ready to let Him set the pace for our walk through His work and by His will.

3. Scripture Guidance

Sing to God, sing praise to his name, extol him who rides on the clouds- his name is the Lord- and rejoice before him.

Psalm 68:4

4. Thoughts to Meditate on

Living By Faith – Be Transformed

Romans 12:2 NIV

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

It's so very easy to get confused, to lose faith, to have trouble seeing what the will of God is in your life. We get distracted. We deal constantly with the pressures of our work and the difficult personalities we must contend with each day. We worry about staying within our budgets. We try to keep our houses clean and our lawns mowed and our clothes presentable. We try to raise our children in the midst of a world that is filled with violence, immorality, and Godlessness. We try to find time to relax in between all the insanity that we call our lives. Unlike what scripture tells us, we become conformed to this world.

But we don't have to be. The massive confusion of our lives does not have to rule us. Instead, we can do what the Word says – be transformed. How? By the renewing of our minds. How? By spending time in the Word of God every day. By praying continually. By seeking His Spirit every moment of our lives.

Now you may say that this is impossible. How can a person pray continually? Prayer does not have to always be a "formal" time of bowing your head and closing your eyes. Prayer is continual contact verbally, mentally and spiritually with the Lord – all day long. Short questions, asking Him how to handle a situation. Short sentences, speaking your gratitude for the hundreds of small miracles that occur in your life every day. How can a person possibly have time to read the Bible every day? Do you have time to watch television? Do you have time to get on the internet? Do you have time to talk to your family?

We can and we must seek His Spirit every moment of our lives – if we are to reap the blessings that God has for us. If you commit yourself to a time period each day for Bible study, for prayer ... an amazing thing happens ... your life begins to flow more smoothly. Oh, your problems don't disappear, of course. But your life will seem smoother because you will be dealing with it in God's way – you will be transformed into someone who is walking in the Spirit, who is beginning to understand God's will for your life, who is reaping the peaceful benefits of Jesus Christ living in you daily.

Take this step in learning to live by faith, and be transformed!

End Times 18 – When will the Rapture Take Place?

This is a great discussion dealing with the different views on the rapture and on when the rapture will take place. After considering Scripture, the conclusion is that the pre-tribulation position makes most sense.
