1. Tips for Kingdom Living

Do you have a VISION for what you can become?

The key for having that clear vision for you is to seek Gods will for your life with all your heart.

That means taking time to assess your strengths and weaknesses as well as assessing where God has you in life.

It involves fasting and praying until God gives you a peace about where you should be and what He wants of you. Usually it is right where you are at and He will show you what you should be doing.

Having a clear vision for what you can become also means change. We don’t like change very well because we are comfortable with where we are. Even when where we are is not a very good place.

It is important to understand that to change means we face the unknown, we don’t know if all the pain or rejection or other problems we have faced will reappear again in the new person we can become.

That is uncomfortable and scary.

Who wants to go through all the heartaches again of becoming something different? As a result, we often choose not to change into what we really can become.

When we truly seek a vision for what we can become in Christ, God will take care of all our unspoken concerns.

To be like Christ means we have to change from what we are to what He is. Therefore, we have to accept that we have to change and keep on changing.

Remember, as you consider the depth of this tip, we can change, Christ wants us to change and the choice is ours.

2. Strategic Advice for the Remnant

In America today, the church is in decline. Most people just do not see the church as relevant.

I believe the church only has itself to blame when it focuses on building its own kingdom, or the pastor’s kingdom, or the governing board’s kingdom rather than God’s Kingdom.

People today are hungry for the Word of God, but the messages from the churches cannot be about prosperity, programs and activities. The message must touch the heart of people, move them in love and compassion, and give help for the hurt and pain they are going through.

The Book of Revelation speaks of the seven different types of churches that have come down through the ages to today. Only two of the churches were not chastised by Christ, the church of Smyrna the persecuted church and the church of Philadelphia the church faithful to Christ and His Word, loved Him and was spiritually alive and active.

The rest of the churches had some good things but mostly bad things in the sight of God, even the church of Laodicea, as bad as it was it had a remnant of good.

Within all seven churches, there was some remnant that followed the good, loved Christ and continued some worthy work.

The lesson and advice for Christians today is that rather than abandon the institutional church we must seek that remnant that still loves Christ and is dedicated to Him. We must seek to strengthen the remnant within the institutional church. We must build on the good work that is being done.

We cannot abandon the remnant of true believers, the true church. We will not be liked and we will be persecuted, Christ has told us that, but we must remain true to Christ even when the rest of the church is abandoning Christian principles.

3. Scripture Guidance

We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

2 Corinthians 4:10

The New International Version

O, to have the soul bathed all day long in this thought, "as the pebble in the willow brook" until the words come like the tears, because the heart is full, and we cannot help it; to feel, in the darkest hour, that there is an unseen Spectator whose eyes rest on us like morning on the flowers; and that in the severest sorrow, we can sink into a presence full of love and sympathy, deeper than ever breathed from earth or sky or loving hearts- a presence in which all fears and anxieties melt away as ice-crystals in the warm ocean. This is heaven.

LIVING BY FAITH – SEEK HIM FIRST

Matthew 6:33 NIV

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Having trouble finding a good job? Seek Jesus first. Having trouble getting rid of a destructive habit like alcohol or drugs or promiscuous sex? Seek Jesus first. Having trouble keeping up with the cost of living? Seek Jesus first. Having problems in your marriage? Seek Jesus first. Having trouble with your kids? Seek Jesus first.

If you're single, let's look at the finding someone special issue. What was Adam doing when he met Eve? Doing what God commanded him to do. What was Ruth doing when she met Boaz? Gathering food to take care of her mother-in-law, just as God would have her do. What was Abigail doing when she met David? Defending her home in a non-violent manner, just as God would have her do. None of these people was running around, desperately seeking a mate. They were doing what God had commanded them to do in their lives. They were seeking God first.

Let's look at other issues. Hannah was barren and wanted a son more than anything. She made a commitment to God and fulfilled it, so God blessed her with Samuel. Rahab sought first to protect the Israeli spies, so God saved her and her family when Jericho was destroyed. A Gentile widow sought first to serve God by feeding Elijah throughout the famine, so God blessed her by bringing her son back to life. David sought God's will first and foremost in almost everything he did (we'll talk about Bathsheba another time!), so God blessed him and made him King of Israel.

You and I are no different from these people. If we seek first to serve God... if we seek first Jesus' kingdom and His righteousness... ALL other things will be added unto us... whatever they are.... whatever our needs... ALL things.

Take this ninth step in learning to live by faith. Begin to seek Him first in your life, and leave the rest to Him.

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 NIV

From different end times watches we have seen that the intelligence reports have indicated that Iran was waiting for the Bush administration to leave office before making a move to destroy Israel.

Note the content of this particular article and the nearness to the Obama inauguration.

Hizbullah is a proxy, or puppet, of Syria and Syria is a proxy of Iran. It is Iran making decisions and exerting pressure on Syria and it is Syria who pulls the strings of the Hizbullah.

6. Site Build It (SBI)

This is the 21st century and the day of the internet. Like it or not it is here to stay.

I needed a web site but had no idea how to build it.

It was all greek, mysterious and intimidating to me.

I paid to have a web site built – cost me a lot of money. But the good thing (I thought) was I could maintain it and add to it myself through a control panel.

This was supposed to save me money – but guess what – I could never get it to work properly. Way to difficult and complicated to understand.

Alas, this too was greek! The site looks good – take a look at it by clicking http://www.MissionMiamiValley.com

The only problem is no traffic comes to it and it is a waste of time and money!

I found the solution! It is Site Build it.

This is absolutely fantastic and I can not say enough good about it

It does not cost as much as I paid for the other site – that is a very good thing. The step-by-step teaching and the unique and phenomenal large amount of tools is unsurpassed.

This is a TRULY USER FRIENDLY web site builder.

Take a look at some of the information – you’ll be glad you did.
