1. Tips for kingdom living – Acceptance

How do we learn to accept those who are different from us?

Accepting others may require us to look at people from a different perspective.

What if the person has committed a terrible sin, do we still accept him or her?

Nothing we do can separate us from God's love. In the same way, we should always love others. This does not mean we accept or condone their sinful actions, but we love and accept them as unique and special creations of God.

Are times we should not be accepting?

We must not accept or tolerate sin in our own lives. Sin is our enemy, seeking to destroy us. If we are willing to allow any specific sin that dwell in our heart unattended, it will begin to spread like a malignant tumor, affecting all we think and do.

2. Strategic Advice for the Remnant

Strategy for strengthening yourself and your sphere of influence

The world is becoming more and more chaotic. The chaos is not going to go away until Jesus’ return. In the meantime, what are we as Christians to do? Here are some tips.

1. Start with you.

Commit to Christ, be an example and share Christ.

2. Secure your family for Christ.

Invite Jesus to be a family member, get right with your spouse, and throw away any lewd or questionable materials - in other words, clean your house.

3. Revitalize your local church.

Know your Bible, fellowship with others at church, become involved in growing the church and encouraging outreach, then you will have earned a right to speak out on doctrinal soundness and on equipping believers.

4. Reclaim what is right in our culture within your sphere of influence.

Take a stand for what is right, help those in need, assert leadership within your sphere of influence.

5. Expect the Lord's return in a moment.

However, act and behave as if it will be a long time before he does return. Determine to make a difference in the lives of other people.

3. Scripture Guidance

O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.

Psalm 8:1

The King James Version

A rough workingman left his home one winter morning in Chicago on his way to the factory. There had been a heavy snowfall the night before. Because the day was cold and the man was not feeling quite up to the mark, he decided that he must have a bracer before he went to his work. He was heading for the rum shop at the next corner. As he plowed his way along through the snow he heard a small voice pipe out behind him, "Father, I am coming too. I am putting my feet in your tracks." The man did not go to the saloon that morning when the significance of the situation dawned upon him. He would make no tracks into the door of a rum shop for his boy.

4.  Thoughts for Meditation

1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

We've said it before – our one purpose in being here is to bring glory to God – in all ways – in everything that we do.  Everything.

How many things do we do each day that we'd rather not talk to God about?  How many places do we go that we'd rather Jesus didn't catch us there?  Why do we have the misimpression that if we don't tell Him about it, He won't notice?

Some years ago when I was a baby Christian, I asked a woman I knew how she dealt with this situation – doing everything to the glory of God.  She told me she tried always to keep a mental image of Jesus standing right next to her, watching and listening to everything she did.  She was already aware that He was there, and keeping this image helped to remind her.

If she did something she knew pleased Him, she would think about Him with a smile on His face.  If she did something she knew hurt Him, she would think about Him crying.  And it worked!

She found herself restraining her tongue more.  She found herself refraining from doing or saying anything that would offend Jesus.  Soon, there was a transformation – she began to automatically do things that would make Him smile.  But better yet, she began to want to do these things because they glorified Him.

She came to realize that the things she did that made Jesus smile were things that also glorified Him in her life.  Her actions and her words were a witness to the world of who Jesus was to her.  By doing and saying only those things that would make Him smile, she was glorifying His name.

Take this step in learning to live by faith, and begin doing only those things that will glorify God – whatever you say or do or eat or drink or think, let it be to the glory of our Lord.

End Times 25 Watch - No answer at Davos forum to global meltdown - Edith M. Lederer -;_ylt=Ar54cBrWrX65Qu3JDicQ7x10bBAF

The five day World Economic forum held at Davos, Switzerland failed to come up with any new plan to stem, much less reverse, the global financial meltdown.

However, Nobel Peace Prize winner Muhammad Yunus, founder of the Grameen Bank in Bangladesh and the father of microcredit, saw a silver lining in the financial crisis.

"It's not just disappointment and frustrations," he told AP. "This is the greatest moment we have because things need to be changed, it's as simple as that. We don't want to go back to the same normalcy that we're coming from. We will create a new normalcy which will stay and keep on moving and change the world."

[Note: The reader should read Yunus’s comment of a “new normalcy” as meaning a one world economy.]

I paid to have a web site built – cost me a lot of money. But the good thing (I thought) was I could maintain it and add to it myself through a control panel.

This was supposed to save me money – but guess what – I could never get it to work properly. Way to difficult and complicated to understand.

Alas, this too was greek! The site looks good – take a look at it by clicking

The only problem is no traffic comes to it and it is a waste of time and money!

This e-zine The Remnant, continues to be a part of the web site for the time being.

However, at some point within the next two weeks it will be transferred to the new web site

The transfer is a little complicated for me and involves your having to RE-CONFIRM your desire to continue receiving “The Remnant”.

If you do not re-confirm your desire to continue receiving your subscription you will not be placed on the data base to receive the Remnant.

It will be a simple process for you, but you will have to make the CLICK to RE-CONFIRM. This will change will be made within the month and I will communicate with you by email prior to that.

The new web site will include sections on spiritual warfare but it will include much more related to information we need so we will not miss the rapture as well as information for your loved ones who may miss the rapture and will need to know what they will be dealing with.
