LESSON Month 01-Day 14
This end times discipleship program is uniquely designed to make disciples for Christ using the Word and a simple process of multiplication while increasing your circle of friends and having fun.
Keep in mind that we are entering in to the last days and there is a desperate need for prepared kingdom workers who understand the times in which we live!
Weekly memory Scripture: Matthew 22:37-39.
Today’s Scripture: Matthew, Chapter 11. Please Underline verses that will help you make 12 end times disciples for Jesus.
Identify, in a way you can come back to for review, what scripture from today’s reading that will help me make 12 end times disciples for Jesus. You may want to highlight the scripture in your bible or you may want to write it out – however you can best come back for reminder and review.
Disciple: At the end of today’s scripture reading, Jesus encourages us with, “If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens, come to me and I will give you rest.” (verse 28)
Servant: Comforting, isn’t it?
D: Yes, at the beginning of our reading, Jesus had been “… instructing His 12 disciples… .”
S: It’s wonderful to have Jesus instruct us through the Bible and the Holy Spirit, isn’t it?
D: It is. Verse 25 says, “At that moment Jesus said: ‘My Father, Lord of Heaven and earth, I am grateful that you hid all this from wise and educated (proud?) people and showed it to ordinary people. Yes, Father, this is what pleased you’.”
S: Let’s please the Father by making 12 disciples for Jesus who each do likewise.
D: Will you please share another way to talk with people about joining my 12?
S: Of course. What have you done so far?
D: I’ve used the approach from Day 7 with my Christian friends. It works. What’s next?
S: First, let’s review what you’ve learned.
D: Always get permission by first asking, “May I ask you a question?”
S: What does that do?
D: It opens the door.
S: Right. What do you say next?
D: “How many disciples have you made for Jesus?”
S: No matter what they answer, it can lead to a conversation about 12 for Jesus, can’t it?
D: Yes, I made copies of Month 1, Days 1 & 2 and briefly went over the highlights of 12 for Jesus with my Christian friends.
S: Remember to emphasize how 12 for Jesus will benefit them.
D: Such as the big time “rewards” from Jesus for making disciples for Him?
S: Yes, it’s better than winning the Texas lottery.
D: Should I ask them to join my 12?
S: Of course, close the sale.
D: Do you have another easy, effective way to approach my Christian friends?
S: Yes. First ask “May I ask you a question?”
D: Got it. What’s next?
S: Sincerely ask, “Have you heard about 12 for Jesus?”
D: Again, no matter what they answer, it can give us an opportunity to share about 12 for Jesus.
S: It can. We can then show them Month 1, Days 1 & 2 from the 12 for Jesus training guide.
D: That’ll work.
S: Then close the sale by inviting them to visit our 12 for Jesus family.
