Keep in mind that we are entering in to the last days and there is a desperate need for prepared kingdom workers who understand the times in which we live!
Weekly memory Scripture: John 3:3
Today’s Scripture: Matthew 19:1-15. Please Underline verses that will help you make 12 end times disciples for Jesus.
Identify, in a way you can come back to for review, what scripture from today’s reading that will help me make 12 end times disciples for Jesus. You may want to highlight the scripture in your bible or you may want to write it out – however you can best come back for reminder and review.
Disciple: In our scripture reading today, Jesus teaches about marriage and children.
Servant: Yes, Jesus commands in verse 6, “… And no one should separate a couple that God has joined together.”
D: That shows the importance of seeking God’s will before marrying, doesn’t it?
S: Yes, it may seem right but if God does not want you joined together, it won’t work.
D: Jesus loved children, didn’t He?
S: Yes, He delighted in them.
D: He said in verse 14, “Let the children come to me, and don’t try to stop them. People who are like these children belong to God’s kingdom.”
S: God, please give us childlike faith in You, our Father. Also, give us the faith to make 12 disciples for Jesus who do likewise 10 times.
D: Our 12 for Jesus lessons recently have been covering the basics of being a mature, fruitful disciple of Jesus, haven’t they?
S: Yes. What are they?
D: Being born again and baptized with water, Holy Spirit and fire. Right?
S: Right. What else have you learned in Month 1 of your training?
D: About 12 for Jesus and how it is helping complete the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) by teaching us to make 12 disciples for Jesus who do likewise 10 times. True?
S: Yes. What else?
D: Love is the key to doing what Jesus told us to do.
S: You’re learning well. What are the 3 love commandments?
D: Love God (Matthew 22:37), love others like I love myself (Matthew 22:38) and love each other as Jesus loved us (John 13:34). How am I doing?
S: Very well. Do you remember what the three top 12 lists were?
D: Is this an “open book” exam?
D: The top 12 basic Christian beliefs, top 12 scriptures and the top 12 qualities that will help me make 12 disciples for Jesus who do likewise.
S: Good. Have you learned anything else from the lessons?
D: Yes, how to approach prospects for my 12 for Jesus family. First ask, “May I ask you a question?”
S: That question opens the door. Then say, “How many disciples have you made for Jesus?” or “Have you heard about 12 for Jesus?” or “Why should Jesus let you into Heaven?” or “Do you currently attend a Bible study?”
D: Those work.
S: Then, of course, tell people about this life-changing, reward-winning 12 for Jesus training.
