Keep in mind that we are entering in to the last days and there is a desperate need for prepared kingdom workers who understand the times in which we live!

Today’s Scripture: Matthew 20:1-16.  Please Underline verses that will help you make 12 end times disciples for Jesus.


Identify, in a way you can come back to for review, what scripture from today’s reading that will help you make 12 end times disciples for Jesus.  You may want to highlight the scripture in your bible or you may want to write it out – how ever you can best come back for reminder and review.






Disciple: Our scripture reading today is a parable that may be difficult for our free enterprise minds to grasp.  No matter how many hours the men worked, they all got paid the same.

Servant: Perhaps Jesus could be saying that salvation opens the door to eternal life in Heaven, whether we accept Jesus early in our life or late.  In other words, as long as people are still alive, if they repent, it’s not too late to invite Jesus to be their Savior and Lord.


D:  Let’s talk to people today about our merciful Jesus and His 12 for Jesus training.

S: Let’s tell them that it’s not too late to get saved and make 12 disciples for Jesus who do likewise.


D: What are some more basic teachings of Jesus that can help me make 12 disciplesfor Him?

S:  You are focused, aren’t you?  Before we get back into basics, may I share with you some of the names of Jesus from the Bible?


D:  Please do.  What are they?

S:  Almighty (1 John 2:1), Alpha & Omega (Revelation 1:8), Ancient of Days (Daniel 7:9), Anointed One (Psalm 2:2), Arm of the Lord (Isaiah 51:9, 10), Beloved Son (Matthew 3:17), Blessed Hope (Titus 2:13) and Bread of Life (John 6:35).


D:  Wow!  Any more?

S:  Bright and Morning Star (Revelation 22:6), Chosen of God (Luke 23:45), Deliverer (Romans 11:26), Faithful & True (Revelation 19:11), Gift of God (John 4:10), Glorious Lord (Isaiah 33:21), Holy One of God (Mark 1:24) and Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14).


D:  What else?

S:  King of Glory (Psalm 24:7-10), King of Kings (Revelation 17:14), Lamb of God (John 1:29), Light of the World (John 8:12), Lord of All (Acts 10:36), Messiah (John 1:41), Only Begotten Son of God (John 3:16) and Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).


D:  What a mighty God we serve.  Any other names of Jesus?

S: Redeemer (Isaiah 59:20), Resurrection (John 11:25), Savior (Isaiah 19:20 & Luke 2:11), Servant (Isaiah 42:1), Son of God (Matthew 4:3), Truth (John 14:6), Way (John 14:6), Wonderful (Isaiah 9:6), Word of God (Revelation 19:13), Worthy (1 John 1:1) and many more. 


D:  Jesus is the name above all names.

S: Let’s encourage people to invest 12 minutes a day to get to know our wonderful Jesus.
